Chicken Houses

Pastel

Ubiquitous to Northwest Arkansas are the long narrow metal buildings that house chickens and dot the countryside. These chicken houses are lit at night, and they make fascinating slashes of light across the landscape. I challenge myself to portray each chicken house in a different contrasting color scheme.

It is brutal, relentless work owning and running chicken houses. My heart cries out for the unnatural way the chickens have to live and die, and feels for the chicken house owners and plant workers. There is a better and more humane way of doing all of this.
