I like to explore the shadow play that occurs when house lights are turned off and on. Looking from the outside, a country home becomes a lighthouse, house lights bleed into the distance then fade. I feel that a mystery exists beyond the edge of darkness. From the inside, lit rooms contrasted with unlit rooms produce all kinds of interesting shadows, which transform normal spaces into the exotic.
